Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 28, 2025
1. Introduction
VaultCharts is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use VaultCharts. Since VaultCharts operates entirely locally on your device, our approach to privacy is fundamentally different from cloud-based services.
2. Local Data Storage
All data processed by VaultCharts, including but not limited to:
- Trading data and ticker information
- API credentials and authentication tokens
- Chart configurations and indicators
- Watchlists and custom timeframes
- All other application data
...is stored exclusively on your local device. No data is transmitted to external servers, cloud services, or third parties.
3. No Data Collection
VaultCharts does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information or usage data. We do not use analytics, tracking, cookies, or any other data collection mechanisms. Your privacy is protected by design.
4. API Credentials
When you add API credentials to VaultCharts, these credentials are stored securely on your local device only. They are used solely to fetch trading data from your specified data sources. VaultCharts never transmits your API credentials to any external server or service.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and protecting your API credentials. We recommend using appropriate security measures on your device to prevent unauthorized access.
5. Data Transmission
VaultCharts only makes network requests to fetch trading data from the data sources you configure (e.g., Binance, Yahoo Finance, etc.). These requests are made directly from your device to the data provider's servers. VaultCharts does not act as an intermediary, and we do not have access to the data being transmitted.
6. Data Backup
You are solely responsible for backing up your VaultCharts data. Since all data is stored locally, you should regularly back up your data to prevent loss in case of device failure or data corruption.
7. Website Privacy
This website (vaultcharts.com) may use standard web technologies such as cookies for basic functionality. However, the VaultCharts application itself does not track or collect any information about your usage.
8. Children's Privacy
VaultCharts is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children, and since VaultCharts operates entirely locally, there is no mechanism to collect such information.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
10. Payment Processing
For Pro plan subscriptions, payment processing is handled by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you subscribe to the Pro plan, your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe and is subject to Stripe's privacy policy and terms of service. VaultCharts does not have access to your full payment card details.
