Do this after the trade is Closed — not while you are still managing it. Goal: separate process from outcome.
5-minute debrief
- Thesis — Was the idea A/B/C quality? Did HTF and LTF align?
- Plan — Did I write entry, stop, and targets before clicking?
- Execution — Early, on-time, or chased?
- Management — Followed rules, or emotion moved the stop/target?
- Result in R — Actual R vs planned R.
- One lesson — Single change for next similar setup.

Rules of thumb
- A green trade with a broken plan is still a process loss.
- A red trade that followed the plan is data — not a character flaw.
- Review losers and winners; winners hide bad habits too.
